Hi, I hope you're doing well!

Welcome to my biweekly newsletter, thanks for reading! I cannot believe it has already been two weeks since my last email ― time is flying by right now (and I'm admittedly feeling a bit out of control).

Just gotta keep moving forward, one step at a time.

You know how it goes ― I want to make this as strategic, insightful, and useful for you as possible, so you can live out your best damn life and be happy. Below is my latest list of recommended links to help you build your best life:

WHERE I'M TRAVELING
  • I had a great time in NYC for five days ― working for three of them, and then celebrating family birthdays over the weekend.
  • This past week I was very lucky to have my parents visiting me in London ― we had a blast exploring London, along with Windsor and Stonehenge too! I am extremely grateful for every moment I get with my family#HustonWeDontHaveAProblem :)

MY FUTURE TRAVEL PLANS
  • I've got a whirlwind travel schedule coming up the next two months: Bangkok for work next week, working in London for a few days, working from NYC for a week (+ I'll be home in the USA for Thanksgiving!), back working in London for a few days, long weekend in Germany to kick off December (Christmas Markets!), working in London for two weeks (my longest stretch at UK home between Oct-Dec), working from NYC for a week, home at my parent's house for Christmas, then Cuba for 12 days over New Years before I head home to London again to wrap it all up. I don't even know if I listed that all out correctly, but it's literally giving me heart palpitations anticipating all of it so I'm just gonna leave it as is and take it day by day.

WHAT I'M WRITING
  • Just posted this weekend about my experience getting an intuitive birth chart reading ― I share my thoughts from the session and some interesting notes I took about my planet alignments.
  • Regarding astrology... in my quest to learn more, I've gone down the YouTube rabbit hole recently... watched this insightful video on Venus Retrograde, which is happening right now (October 5 - November 16). I just emailed this to my BFF and wanted to share with you too. I've been feeling ALL the emotions lately, struggling with heartbreak and anxiety, and this helped explain why a lot of things have been stirred up legit starting exactly on October 5 (according to my diary LOL). If you watch, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts ― please send me an email or DM on Insta! *Start at the 15 minute mark if you're short on time.

WHAT OTHERS ARE WRITING
PODCASTS I'M LISTENING TO
  • I highly recommend listening to Ari Miesel's The Less Doing podcast (who doesn't want to start living more by doing less!?) ― this episode featuring entrepreneur Caspar Szulc discusses what's happening in the cutting edge of integrative medicine and his company's new breakthrough in brain health with the first doctor-formulated, comprehensive NAD+ supplement for focus and concentration ― Nadovim.
    • If you have ever dealt with a chronic illness, or looked into how to best integrate both Western and Eastern medicine into your life, you'll benefit from listening to this episode. Caspar clearly explains the specifics so non-medical folks like myself can understand, relate, and take action from it.

TRIPS I'M PLANNING
  • Remember all the dreaming I was doing about a backpacking Central America trip over New Years? Well, nothing was really clicking or sticking out to me. Usually trips start to fall into place once the dreaming begins ― but this one didn't. After an honest conversation with my travel muse, I realized it was because I wanted something else from this trip... and a crazy multi-country backpacking adventure wasn't it. I've been craving a solid amount of creative time to just sit and WRITE. If I won the billion dollar lottery, that's what I would do forever. As soon as I admitted that to myself, a new trip just fell into place. So change of plans ― I'll be off the grid off in Havana, Cuba channeling my inner Hemingway for 12 days and I couldn't be looking more forward to it.
  • I did want to note that I don't regret or think I wasted any time dreaming and researching for the Central America backpacking trip. I will do that trip eventually, and anytime you learn something new is never a waste. That's what I love the most about traveling ― you're challenged to grow by learning new geography, new cultures, new languages, new customs, and new landscapes every single time.

YOUTUBE VIDEOS I'M WATCHING
  • Cuba trip in the works now... currently going through a Hemingway phase. I found this biography of his life fascinating. It's been so fun to dive back into his work again.

QUOTE I LOVE
  • “It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.” — Ernest Hemingway

Now go forth and get shit done... or take it easy, CTFO, and prioritize self care. Follow your intuition and do what's best for you right now.

If you have any questions or feedback, please don't hesitate to reach out. I would so appreciate it if you forwarded this to a friend!
