SH Note #16 : I Make Such A Big Fucking Deal Out Of Everything.

cuba london newsletter reading shnotes travel Jan 18, 2019
Good morning sunshine :)

Welcome to my weekly(ish) newsletter! I almost skipped on this week already ― but then reminded myself I just wanted to keep this short, sweet, and actionable for you and your weekend coming up. I make such a big fucking deal out of everything, so I'm trying to ease up even more on my control freak expectations and rules.

Anyway, it's easy to lose track of time on weekends. Whether it's binging on Netflix and not getting anything done, or making a to do list so long that you never relax at all. My hope is that this newsletter will provide some weekend inspiration for you to set aside just a little time to reflect, read, meditate, and grow however you see fit.

Below is my latest list of recommended links to help you build your best life:

WHERE I'M TRAVELING
  • Enjoying 2.5 weeks at home in London right now before I head to Athens, Greece next week.
  • Slowly but surely sharing my favorite Cuba trip pics over on the Instagram :)

WHAT I'M WRITING
  • I haven't stopped writing since Cuba, been in Airplane Mode O'Clock most days, but didn't publish anything new this week. I've got a lot going on that I need to prioritize handling first (can't wait to tell you - stay tuned!). ~ I have been writing in some Insta captions, and sharing photos of my favorite humans from Cuba here and here.

WHAT OTHERS ARE WRITING
NEWSLETTER I LOVE
  • I read Rebecca Conran's Energy Report every week ― highly recommend subscribing if you're looking to tune in with the universe. She calls out what's currently happening in astrology so you can keep up with and understand more about the celestial energies swirling around you.

YOUTUBE VIDEOS I'M WATCHING
  • As much as I love traveling, I still find myself terrifyingly excited before each solo trip, so I loooved this candid travel video from Christianne sharing her thoughts before leaving on a two month solo backpacking trip through the Philippines.

QUOTE I LOVE
  • “All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.” ― Brian Tracy

Remember that you are good enough, you are smart enough, and you are talented enough. You were born with exactly what you need to chase down your biggest dreams.
