What images come to your mind when you think of Detroit?
I recently explored Detroit for the first time this January 2018.
Detroit had been on my bucket list for a while… and I had heard a lot of things.
I had no clue what to expect.
But no one prepared me for Detroit to be like this.
DETROIT IS FUCKING GORGEOUS.
I never knew that Detroit had such a plethora of stunning historical buildings to explore!
They used to call Detroit the “Paris of the West” for its architecture and now I know why.
I immediately fell in love with the strong city vibes, met so many cool and kind people, and really enjoyed learning about the legendary Detroit history.
The city is rich in history, with a comeback grind and energy that not many places can compete with.
