good morning good morning!

Happy Friday! I am wishing you a wonderful day and weekend ahead!

Surprise - I snuck off on a trip to Aruba to see my Grandpa! Not a new country, but a family favorite that I am so grateful to visit again. Check out my Insta stories and come explore with me this week :)

I know, I know... I said last week that I was more than content staying in one spot for the first time in the longest time... and now I'm traveling ten days in a row. Old habits die hard LOL and I have missed my airplane time - I haven't taken a flight since I got back from Amsterdam over three months ago!!

OG travel photo inspiration this week courtesy of my Grandma & Grandpa Huston:

#TRAVELING
  • Aruba vacation this week visiting my Grandpa Huston and Uncle who are down there for a month! They are both entrepreneurs and adventurers too, so it will be a blast getting their perspectives and advice on all that I'm going through right now.
  • My Grandparents used to spend every winter in Aruba for 30+ years (they were even made honorary citizens!), so it's a special spot for our family. I feel so lucky that I get to experience exploring with my 93-year-old Grandpa and will be soaking up every moment and writing out all the stories.

#BUSINESSBUILDING
  • I'm currently in month 11 of my full-time solopreneur journey, and while I've had a lot of fun adventures - I haven't taken a proper week-long vacation since I began. I'm doing my best to relax and regroup this week in Aruba even though I'm still behind on thousands of emails and messages. TBH, I've been terrified to take a break and stop working because I'm the only one running my business and I feel the weight of my world on my shoulders. With great freedom comes great responsibility :) I know I have to lean into self-care if I'm going to build sustainably for long-term success.
