SH FRIDAY MEMO

Hellooo!

Happy Friday! In case no one has told you yet, you are doing a great job this week. I believe in you and am rooting for you.

I've been procrastinating writing this note because ~THERE IS SO MUCH TO CATCH UP ON~ and I keep spiraling with all the updates that I am finally ready to share...

Protesting, moving, SH LLC team updates (ILYSM HH!), beta launching, a special exception solo road trip...

Pinky swear that I will continue to spill all my secrets here first with this crew :)

But right now, I've got to channel my inner scrappy goddess, just start SOMEWHERE, and build on it from there. It's not going to be perfect or complete the first round anyway - no matter how hard I try - so I've been working to release that perfectionism in lieu of getting shit done.

Let's start with my beta launch updates, as foreshadowed in last week's memo:

So TL;DR I fired all of my clients in the middle of the pandemic and took out a small biz loan in efforts to go all in on launching my own products and courses.

It was a big, scary leap that I was absolutely terrified to take - but I knew deep down in my heart of hearts it's what I had to do. I know the Universe has my back, especially when I make bold moves that align with my soul purpose.

I'm at that pivotal part of my entrepreneur story where I've spent three years and all of my savings to build my business, and I'm down to my last dollars and months to make it work.

I am scared, anxious, and overwhelmed... but remain grounded in gratitude and knowledge that the power and choices truly are all mine.

Long story short - we aimed to launch on 6/8/20, but made the call to postpone when the Black Lives Matter movement engulfed the USA. I hate everything that has had to happen, but know that it is long overdue (#understatementoftheyear) and needs to be faced and healed head on now.
My heart has led me to show up and speak up, and I've followed it to protests in Philadelphia, NYC, Washington D.C., and the suburbs so far.
I considered ignoring the call so I could protect myself from the pandemic and prioritize my biz - reasonably so - but the bottom line is I want to compete with the best, and right now the game is rigged in my favor. I take responsibility to do my part in changing the game for the highest good.
We went live with the scrappiest launch ever on 7/20/20 - it's still a work in progress - my former inner perfectionist is *so* triggered - but I couldn't be any prouder for overcoming that and putting my shit out there for the world to see and benefit from!
